New Mexico High School Basketball - Tohatchi crushes Cuba
December 19, 2022: Cuba, NM 87013 Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM), 82-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tohatchi upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Cougars host Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-0.
Next up, the Rams play the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Cuba will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 47-32 non-league win over Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM).
