The Hoover Patriots football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host Fresno Warriors to 14 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a North Yosemite battle on Friday, September 29. Hoover will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-30 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) in a North Yosemite battle, on Thursday, September 28. Fresno will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 22-14 league loss to Sanger West (Fresno, CA).
