The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) and the host Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), saw Northwestern Area's volleyball squad beat Faulkton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Northwestern Area upgrades its record to 18-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Groton (Groton, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Groton lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sisseton (Sisseton, SD)
