The Wharton Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dwyer for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 2. Wharton will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Pembroke Pines Charter (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 27-1.
