Pennsylvania High School Football - Emmaus held off by Liberty
October 1, 2015: Emmaus, PA 18049 In Thursday's league game, the Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) football team tipped the host Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA), by a final score of 34-31.
The Hurricanes (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Trojans come into the Eastern Pennsylvania - South game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Parkland got by Whitehall (Whitehall, PA), 42-28, in a league game.
The Hornets now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northampton for a Eastern Pennsylvania - South game on Friday, October 9. Emmaus will battle a Konkrete Kids team coming off a 19-13 league loss to Nazareth (Nazareth, PA). The Konkrete Kids record now stands at 1-4.
