In Tuesday's league outing, the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR), by a margin of 57-31.

The Greyhounds (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain View (Mountain View, AR). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region 2 outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Mountain View smashed Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 66-27, in a league outing.
