Georgia High School Lacrosse - Grovetown drops to Woodward Academy
February 22, 2024: College Park, GA 30337 Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA), 14-2 in a non-league test.
The War Eagles now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Dunwoody for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 27. Woodward Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 28. Grovetown will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
