With the triumph, Fort Stockton improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Clint (Clint, TX) to battle the Lions in a 4A-2 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 6. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-4. Clint lost 39-17 in their recent non-league test against Irvin (El Paso, TX)
With the loss, Ysleta drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Parkland (El Paso, TX) to battle the Matadors in a 5A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, September 29. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Parkland lost 37-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX)
