In Friday's league outing, the host South Mecklenburg Sabres softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Palisades Pumas.

Coming up next, the Sabres battle the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) in a So Meck 4A outing, on Tuesday, April 4. South Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Cardinal enter the outing with a 5-5 record after their 16-0 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).

The Pumas (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights enter the So Meck 4A outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Ardrey Kell was routed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 7-1, in a non-league outing.
