March 2, 2022: Elk Grove, CA 95624 Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Oro for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Pleasant Grove will battle a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Laguna Creek falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Granite Bay won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA)
