The Los Fresnos Falcons crushed the visiting Mercedes Tigers baseball team by a count of 17-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Palmview for a non-league bout on Monday, February 28. Los Fresnos will face a Lobos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 4-0.
