Arizona High School Soccer - Mountain Ridge nudges Agua Fria
November 29, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85323 Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ).
The Owls now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bradshaw Mountain for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. Agua Fria will confront a Bears team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Prescott (Prescott, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
