Texas High School Basketball - Plains fells Silverton
December 1, 2023: Silverton, TX 79257 Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Silverton Owls (Silverton, TX), 60-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plains upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Springlake-Earth won 63-37 in their recent non-league bout against Friona (Friona, TX)
Next up, the Owls play the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Silverton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 59-54 non-league win over Whiteface (Whiteface, TX).
