Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) and the visiting Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), saw Buchanan's basketball squad wallop Hoover by a tally of 74-18.

With the victory, Buchanan improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Central (Fresno, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Central won 69-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Hanford (Hanford, CA)
