In Friday's league match, the visiting South Tahoe Vikings football squad scored a big 50-14 victory over the Sparks Railroaders.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a IA Northern match, on Friday, October 19. South Tahoe will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 28-9 league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).

The Railroaders (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the IA Northern match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Dayton was crushed by Elko (Elko, NV), 21-16, in a league match.
