Ohio High School Basketball - Houston topped by New Bremen
January 23, 2023: Houston, OH 45333 The New Bremen Cardinals basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Houston Wildcats to 32 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Knoxville for a Midwest contest on Thursday, January 26. New Bremen will battle a Rangers team coming off a 54-15 league loss to Minster (Minster, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 1-17.
The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH). The Redskins come into the Shelby County contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Loramie prevailed over Fairlawn (Sidney, OH), 60-10, in a league contest.
