Kentucky High School Softball - Fleming County bounces Estill County
May 1, 2024: Flemingsburg, KY 41041 Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), 16-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mason County for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Fleming County will face a Royals squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Royals record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Estill County falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Engineers host Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to face the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 19-4. Pulaski County won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY)
