December 14, 2022: Jacksonville, FL 32206 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL) and the host Andrew Jackson Tigers (Jacksonville, FL), saw Mainland's basketball squad hold off Andrew Jackson by a tally of 48-41.
With the victory, Mainland improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host McLean (McLean, VA) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. McLean won 42-27 in their recent league challenge against Langley (McLean, VA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave (Gainesville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Andrew Jackson will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Wave come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 65-14 non-league win over West Port (Ocala, FL).
