Illinois High School Basketball - Argo tops McHenry

December 28, 2021: Summit, IL 60501

Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), 66-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Argo upgrades its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Argonauts host Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to play the Braves in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Bremen lost 74-56 in their recent non-league bout against Lindblom (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 29. McHenry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 77-65 non-league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
