North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA), 80-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Union upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA) to confront the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Bishop Garrigan lost 72-53 in their recent league challenge against Algona (Algona, IA)

Next up, the Rebels confront the Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
