New York High School Basketball - Peekskill crushes Beacon
January 21, 2016: Peekskill, NY 10566 Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beacon Blue Demons (New York, NY), 58-31 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Peekskill improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY) to confront the Sailors in a Section 1 Conference 1 - B challenge on Friday, January 29. The Sailors come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Blue Demons confront the West 50th Street Seahawks (New York, NY) in a PSAL Manhattan A West challenge, on Friday, January 22. Beacon will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 57-28 league loss to Lab Museum United (New York, NY).
