The Lancaster Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies to 19 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon for a non-league contest on Monday, December 7. Lancaster will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-2.

The Grizzlies (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Burbank (Burbank, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Burbank was routed by South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA), 48-40, in a non-league contest.
