Missouri High School Basketball - Platte County ripped by Fort Osage
January 23, 2024: Independence, MO 64058 The Fort Osage Indians basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Platte County Pirates to 60 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Springs South for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Fort Osage will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 55-40 league win over Platte County (Platte City, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-8.
The Pirates (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kansas City East Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Kansas City East Christian Academy was routed by Barstow (Kansas City, MO), 78-75, in a non-league contest.
