In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lynwood Knights basketball team scored a decisive 59-38 triumph over the Village Christian Crusaders.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) in a Gateway match, on Tuesday, January 30. Lynwood will attempt to better on its 15-11 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 20-6 record after their 62-26 league win over Warren (Downey, CA).
