Minnesota High School Basketball - Edison ripped by Washburn
January 20, 2011: Minneapolis, MN 55418 The Washburn Millers basketball team scored 99 points and held the host Edison Tommies to 45 in the Millers league triumph on Thursday.
The Millers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayzata for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Washburn will confront a Trojans team coming off a 55-42 non-league win over St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.
The Tommies (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Breck (Minneapolis, MN). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Breck was routed by Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 78-62, in a non-league contest.
