Alabama High School Baseball - Winfield loses to Bob Jones
February 24, 2024: Winfield, AL 35594 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Bob Jones Patriots baseball team scored a nice 17-3 victory over the Winfield Pirates.
The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Peachtree Ridge ran past Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next, the Pirates confront the Sumiton Christian Eagles (Sumiton, AL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 27. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Dora (Dora, AL).
