Arizona High School Basketball - Ray fells San Miguel
January 8, 2022: Kearny, AZ 85137 Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), 32-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ray upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Bearcats host Cibecue/Dischii Biko (Cibecue, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Cibecue/Dischii Biko won 42-32 in their recent league bout against Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ)
Next up, the Vipers play the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) in a 2A South bout, on Tuesday, January 11. San Miguel will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Vandals enter the game with a 12-4 record after their 68-18 non-league win over Globe (Globe, AZ).
