Kansas High School Basketball - Olathe West nips Mill Valley
January 7, 2022: Shawnee, KS 66226 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Olathe West Owls (Olathe, KS) and the host Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS), saw Olathe West's basketball team get by Mill Valley by a tally of 54-50.
The Owls now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olathe North for a Sunflower battle on Friday, January 14. Olathe West will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-16 non-league win over Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
The Jaguars (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Shawnee Mission South edged Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS), 61-29, in a non-league battle.
