The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) and the host Taft Senators (Cincinnati, OH), observed DuPont Manual's football squad defeat Taft by a count of 24-8.

The Crimsons now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. DuPont Manual will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 33-32 non-league win over Fairdale (Fairdale, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Senators encounter the Meadowdale Lions (Dayton, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 9. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH).
