Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shady Side Academy crushes Freeport
December 11, 2021: Freeport, PA 16229 Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA), 69-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Shady Side Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA) to play the Bucs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Bucs come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Burrell won 58-24 in their recent non-league bout against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 55-39 non-league loss to Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA).
