Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Gonzaga holds off Canisius
March 14, 2009: Washington, DC 20010 The Gonzaga Eagles tipped the visiting Canisius Crusaders lacrosse squad by a score of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the triumph, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bullis (Potomac, MD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Bullis won 11-5 in their recent non-league bout against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
With the defeat, Canisius drops to 1-2 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Sunday, March 15. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Brophy College Prep lost 5-3 in their recent non-league bout against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX)
