The Hamilton Big Blue basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Mason Comets to 49 in the Big Blue league triumph on Friday.

The Big Blue now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgewood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Hamilton will meet a Cougars team coming off a 48-40 league win over Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 4-9.

The Comets (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH). The Thunderhawks enter the Greater Miami contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Lakota East was nudged by Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH), 60-56, in a non-league contest.
