Kentucky High School Basketball - Bullitt Central holds off Spencer County
January 18, 2022: Shepherdsville, KY 40165 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) and the visiting Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY), saw Bullitt Central's basketball squad hold off Spencer County by a tally of 59-54.
With the victory, Bullitt Central improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Moore (Louisville, KY) to confront the Mustangs in a District 23 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-14.
Next up, the Bears confront the Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY) in a District 30 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Spencer County will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 65-37 league win over Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY).
