October 19, 2018: Tappahannock, VA 22560 Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 51-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Essex improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Washington & Lee (Montross, VA) to battle the Eagles in a Northern Neck test on Friday, October 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-5. Washington & Lee lost 27-6 in their recent league test against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA)
With the loss, Lancaster drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA) to battle the Drifters in a Northern Neck test on Friday, October 26. The Drifters come into the test with a record of 3-4. Colonial Beach lost 35-34 in their recent league test against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)
