In Thursday's non-league outing, the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX), by a count of 53-52.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Edinburg North nipped Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX), 46-24, in a non-league outing.
