The Heritage Pride basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Herndon Hornets to 13 in the Pride non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pride now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Potomac Falls for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Heritage will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-7 non-league win over Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
