Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), 51-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Herreid/Selby upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Lemmon lost 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND)

Next up, the Tigers play the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
