Illinois High School Basketball - Noble Street College Prep topped by Holy Trinity
December 21, 2016: Chicago, IL 60622 The Holy Trinity Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers to 43 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rowe-Clark for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Holy Trinity will battle a Masai Lions team coming off a 41-33 league win over ITW David Speer Academy (Chicago, IL). The Masai Lions record now stands at 3-7.
The Golden Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Golder (Chicago, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Golder prevailed over Rowe-Clark (Chicago, IL), 42-39, in a non-league contest.
Game Summary
Holy Trinity played an inspired game to capture the first win on the season. The Tigers (1-9) were led by Keflon Gideon who had a career high 25 points and teammate Christian Trejo who added 20.
Noble Street (1-5 overall) featured Jucari Attest who had 13 and teammate Get Miller who added 12.

The Holy Trinity tourney concludes tomorrow with two games. At 5:15 pm Noble Street will face Noble Golder. And at 7pm Holy Trinity matches up versus Rowe-Clark.
A win by Golder would clinch the title for the Panthers.
