In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting M.L. King Lions basketball team scored a tight 59-55 triumph over the Collins Hill Eagles.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Arabia Mountain Rams (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAAA Region 4 match, on Friday, December 8. M.L. King will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 65-59 non-league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).

With the defeat, Collins Hill moves to 5-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to meet the Rockets in a non-league match on Saturday, December 9.
