Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) and the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), saw Wyoming Area's basketball squad wallop Hanover Area by a count of 65-8.

With the victory, Wyoming Area upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA) to play the Knights in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Hawkeyes play the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3.
