North Carolina High School Volleyball - R.J. Reynolds over Parkland

September 28, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27127

R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Demons battle the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A match, on Tuesday, October 3. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 5-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC).

With the loss, Parkland drops to 2-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Eagles in a Central Piedmont 4A contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 8-8. East Forsyth won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
