August 22, 2014: Fairburn, GA 30213 In Friday's non-league game, the Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) football team knocked off the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), by a final score of 55-41.
The Seminoles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Langston Hughes toppled Mays (Atlanta, GA), 27-7, in a non-league game.
The Eagles now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pope for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. South Cobb will encounter a Greyhounds team coming off a 40-21 non-league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-1.
