Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Curwensville can't hold off Keystone
February 5, 2024: Curwensville, PA 16833 The Keystone Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Curwensville Golden Tide to 51 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Forest for a Keystone Shortway contest on Wednesday, February 7. Keystone will battle a Bears team coming off a 88-35 league loss to Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Bears record now stands at 2-6.
The Golden Tide (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels come into the Inter County - North contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Moshannon Valley was nudged by Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA), 64-39, in a non-league contest.
