Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Eastern Hancock upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Royals travel to Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-9. Heritage Christian won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN)

With the defeat, Cowan falls to 7-9 on the season. The Blackhawks host Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-9. Eastbrook lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)
