December 12, 2023: Newberg, OR 97132 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR) and the visiting Grant Generals (Portland, OR), saw Newberg's basketball squad overcome Grant by a tally of 39-24.
With the victory, Newberg improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Mary's Academy (Portland, OR) to confront the Blues in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Blues come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Generals confront the Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Grant will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 71-10 non-league win over Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR).
