Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) and the visiting Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), saw Union City's basketball squad knock off Union by a score of 43-23.

With the victory, Union City improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to battle the Starfires in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 19. The Starfires come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Rockets battle the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) in a Mid-Eastern challenge, on Friday, November 18. Union will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN).
