California High School Basketball - Canoga Park topped by Mendez
December 19, 2017: Los Angeles, CA 90033 The Mendez Jaguars basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Canoga Park Hunters to 16 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reseda for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Mendez will battle a Regents team coming off a 57-19 non-league loss to King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Regents record now stands at 4-3.
The Hunters (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Verdugo Hills was defeated by Bravo (Los Angeles, CA), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
