California High School Basketball - Tahquitz nudges West Valley
January 2, 2019: Hemet, CA 92545 Tahquitz Titans (Hemet, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 69-65 in a league bout.
With the win, Tahquitz upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Titans host Citrus Hill (Perris, CA) to clash with the Hawks in a Mountain Pass bout on Friday, January 4. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Citrus Hill won 65-45 in their recent league bout against Hemet (Hemet, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the San Jacinto Tigers (San Jacinto, CA) in a Mountain Pass bout, on Friday, January 4. West Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 73-38 league loss to Beaumont (Beaumont, CA).
