Louisiana High School Basketball - East Beauregard ripped by Elton
January 21, 2022: DeRidder, LA 70634 The Elton Indians basketball team scored 78 points and held the host East Beauregard Trojans to 32 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merryville for a 1A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 25. Elton will meet a Panthers team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.
The Trojans (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gueydan (Gueydan, LA). The Bears enter the 1A District 4 contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Gueydan was routed by Oberlin (Oberlin, LA), 62-47, in a league contest.
