Oregon High School Basketball - Cascade Christian holds off Summit
December 30, 2023: Bend, OR 97701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) and the host Summit Storm (Bend, OR), saw Cascade Christian's basketball squad hold off Summit by a tally of 77-75.
With the victory, Cascade Christian improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Challengers travel to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR) to confront the Bruins in a 3A Far West challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Brookings-Harbor won 58-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
Next up, the Storm confront the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) in a 5A Intermountain challenge, on Friday, January 5. Summit will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
